WebThere is no danger. This is no ransomware attack. It's just Cryptomator doing what it is best in - encrypting files. And OneDrive crapping itself/trying to be helpful because it scans the files and realizes, their contents are garbled. >Exactly< as I like my files to appear for OneDrive snooping around. My bottom line is that Cryptomator is a convenient solution for making sure the data you place in cloud storage services remains secure and accessible only by you. I recommend it. WebAug 16, 2024 · This is a really annoying and time consuming process. As I want to use the Cryptomator safes as backup, it would be nice not to store corrupted files. Does anybody has an idea from where it comes and how I can avoid this? I’m using an iMac 5K 27" 2024 with 3.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 and 64GB 2400 MHz DDR4 RAM. WebFeb 26, 2024 · I modified something (Excel) on Cryptomator drive it would not update to OneDrive. The OneDrive showed "Up to Date" but in fact the new modification file is not updated. The sync is working well when new files added or deleted but not for modification. I have both Macbook and Windows laptop.
