WebMar 9, 2024 · I’ve got it set up on my TT and it recommends a tracking weight of 1.8g, the thing is it seems on the bright side. If I change the weight to say 2g to try and combat this would I be doing any damage to my Lps. Also while I’m here can anyone recommend a cartridge that is a little warmer, round about the same price range as the 2m blue. WebJan 24, 2009 · I have two DUAL 1219s with Shure M91 (spherical stylus) and found that 1.8 to 2.0 g tracking force brings me excellent results ..... although I tried it with up to 3.5 g too, but that didn't really sound good .... same with lower tracking force, say 1.00 g I wouldn't imagine a cartridge tracking scale would be so wide - 1g to 3.5g!
