WebI believe the problem is that the repeat expanding and contraction of the board and components can cause the solder not to provide a proper connection causing the YLOD issue. Running a heat gun or hair dryer over the components remelts the solder to provide a proper connection. My PS3 has been running fine since i did this a few months back.
