Echols (born November 1, 1960) is an elected official originally from Clayton County, Georgia, who was elected to the Athens-area seat on the Georgia Public Service Commission as a Republican in 2010. Echols unsuccessfully attempted to be appointed to the United States Senate in 2024. Echols currently serves as vice-chairman of the commission.
